| Additional Notes: | Summer advised Jeff that we would be interested in learning about sharing airspace with gliders, such as what heights gliders typically fly at in the area, radio communications, and anything we (powered pilots) may not be aware of but should be. We'd also be interested to hear about how gliders work, the process for take-off, landing, and catching thermals. Basically, soaring/glider activity in SW Ontario and what it's like to fly a glider (a step-by-step of a first flight experience for example), along with any unique experiences he has had. |
