2026 "Wrench the Dream" Grant Awarded

COPA 177 is thrilled to announce the winner of the 2026 Wrench The Dream Grant. Paloma Ulanimo is a graduate of Fanshawe College Aviation Technician program. She previously worked for JD Aero in Sault Ste Marie. While there, she completed 95% of the tasks required for her Aviation Maintenance Engineer AME-M2 licence, working on De Havilland Dash 8 turbo-props and Bombardier CRJ jets. She currently works for Allin Aviation in Goderich, where she is gaining experience for her AME-M1 licence, working on light propeller aircraft.

Paloma will be presented with the grant Tuesday June 9, 7pm, at the monthly meeting of COPA 177 at the CSX7 Sexsmith Airfield.
